Carrie Underwood prays for haters

nup-157753-1616-jpg (1)Jesus take the wheel! Carrie Underwood isn’t letting Sound of Music Live! critics get her down. In fact, she thinks her haters ”need Jesus.”

The 30-year-old singer has slammed ”mean people” following criticism of her acting in the ‘Sound of Music Live!’ on Thursday night (05.12.13), including by the one of the film’s original stars. The blonde beauty hit back on Friday night tweeting:  ”Plain and simple: Mean people need Jesus. They will be in my prayers tonight…1 Peter 2:1-25.”

She cited a Bible scripture that states to ”rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.”

Carrie should take a cue from George Clooney. Shrug off critics and slanderers who cast aspersions at you with a good mirthful laugh, make a real cheesy and corny remark that’s sure to make ’em look stupid, and graciously move on. You’d feel so much better.
