The mother of all chick flicks! Cameron Diaz, Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Aniston are looking to star in the perfect comedy

PicturesActors Sandra Bullock, Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Aniston are hoping to star in a comedy together.

According to RadarOnline.com, they are searching for ‘the mother of all chick comedies’ after seeing the success of The Heat and Bridesmaids. The website reports that Sandra, 49, who is friends with both Cameron, 41, and Jennifer, 44, is expected to take the lead.

A source said: ‘It’s amazing that this is even being considered by this group — and shows that they’re putting aside old rivalries to find ways of staying relevant in recession-racked Hollywood. Although there isn’t a script or concept in play just yet, the film could do for girl comedies what The Avengers did for superhero movies.’

Cameron, Jennifer and Sandra all have very impressive rosters of film under their belts and all have done their fair share of comedies.

Some of Cameron’s biggest hits include There’s Something About Mary, The Mask and Bad Teacher, as well as her recently wrapped The Other Woman, alongside Kate Upton. She will next be seen in Annie, playing Miss Hannigan, after taking over from Sandra – who had been in talks to star in it.

Sandra was last seen in the rather heavy Gravity alongside George Clooney, but before that, she took the lead in The Heat – comedy with Melissa McCarthy.

And Jennifer is also no stranger to comedy – as well as her long standing role in Friends, she has had huge hits like Horrible Bosses and most recently, We’re The Millers.

Spokespersons for Cameron, Sandra and Jennifer have been contacted for comment.

Whatever film they want to star in, I’m so watching! 😀
