The Things They Say: 141

“In the first instance, did you read in the Bible that any of the people who were the apples of God’s eyes had one wife? As it is now, if Kayode goes ahead and impregnates a woman, will I leave him because of that? If I decide to leave my home because my husband is dating another woman or impregnated a woman, who will lose, my husband or me? At the end of the day, it is the woman that owns the home and you hold it the way you want to hold it. So, if my husband is misbehaving and I decide to quit, I shouldn’t blame another person for coming in.”
Actress Foluke Daramola, who started dating her husband while he was married to another woman, blames her husband’s ex-wife for leaving him because of his affair with her.

Now am very convinced Foluke’s really twisted. Girl! What do you talking about? You put asunder a 13yr old union and you’re ‘yanning opata’. Don’t get too comfortable in that sham of a marriage, be rest assured that a man who was not faithful to his wife of more than a decade lacks the ability to be faithful at all and what goes around, will come back around. Bleach all you want, you’re sitting on a time bomb. Onisokuso osi! Mtcheewww!

@Yemmie, my exact sentiments!! What goes around must surely come around. Like my mum would say “Ihe nwanyi mere nwanyi ibe ya bu ‘ngaa jidere m'” It will soon reach her, and she’ll look for mouth to talk, and won’t find.

Well I guess like akon she is also of d school of thought dat says men r polygamous in nature. She is open to polygamy or @least won’t mind her hubby after affairs. Believe it or not some women r just stupidly weird like dat.

Birds of a feather, she and the man. She might be getting some elsewhere too. Truth’s that many couples are still together just for ‘keeping up appearances’ sake. Many african women believe it’s their job to be long suffering just to keep it together.
